In 2011, I was approached to write for the Ethical Fashion Forum’s Source Magazine, as US West Coast Correspondent. The US market was still very new to the idea of conscious fashion and it was difficult to be taken seriously. Not many people wanted to listen, as it was considered too niche.

Thoroughly inspired by the people I was interviewing, I partnered with photographer Betsy Winchell, and co-founded Brilliant Collective, in order to further champion the visionary people, crafts and technologies behind the conscious fashion industry.
